Horse: Well presented, clean and un-plaited mane. Wear a red ribbon in tail for a kicking horse and a green ribbon for a young horse.
Tack: Clean, plain and discreet, black or brown. No decorated bridles. Numnahs should be discreet in colour-dark brown, black or white.

Coat: Hunting coat black (gentlemen) or navy (ladies). The only decoration is a poppy worn before remberance sunday or a black armband if in mourning.
Scarlet Coat: Males only. Reserved for Masters, Huntsman, Whips, amature whips, past masters and by invitation.
Shirt: Collar-less hunting shirt with a white, tied stock.
Plain, gold stock pin worn horizontally.
Waistcoat: If desired, tattersal check or plain mustard.
Gloves: White or buff.
Breeches or Jodphurs: Buff or canary yellow. White to be worn with a scarlet coat.
Boots: Long black or brown.
Spurs should be secured so they sit above the heel.
Garter straps worn below the knee.
Mahogany topped boots to be worn only with a scarlet coat.
